Simple and Fresh Holiday Living Room
Merry Christmas! This is the second post of a two-part holiday series to share the festive décor in both the dining room the living room. As mentioned in the previous post, Simple and Fresh Holiday Dining Room, the sentiment behind this year’s home holiday look is simple and fresh. Instead of a Christmas tree in the living room, some delicate twinkle lights with copper strands are strung around the ceiling to create an airy and bright feel in the space. Celebrating Christmas with a new baby niece around as well as travel plans, made this tree alternative a practical option. I put a few favourite holiday cards into white painted frames and picked up some winterberry branches to place on top of the bookshelf. I was looking for a way to incorporate winterberry branches into the scheme because they were a central part of one of my favourite outdoor holiday looks Winterberry Inspired Outdoor Holiday Décor a few years ago. Candles are scattered around the room and on the mantel which is decked with a “Merry Christmas” felt garland.
Hope you are able to relax today (maybe like the pooch in the photographs) and celebrate with family and friends! Joyeux Noël!
