Samantha and Didier are getting married in early November in a beautiful upstairs loft overlooking the Thames River, in London, Ontario.  Being as it is a fall wedding the bride and groom narrowed down the colour palette for the event to simply include a fall bloom’s inspired purple palette.  Simple, classic, and traditional were words that the happy couple used to describe their desired aesthetic for the special day – the rest was up to me!  This is the first wedding planning project that I have taken on and I was super excited to share in this event and was definitely up for the challenge!  To be sure that everything came together just so, I did a little practice run to showcase the wedding table scheme.  I’m happy to share with you some of the table elements I created for Samantha and Didier’s Fall Blooms Wedding on the Thames!

I created a coordinating basket for the flower girl and had to include it in this post as it is just that cute!  We could not use confetti or flower petals at the venue, but we used the next best thing… sweet chocolate treats!

Also pictured is a quick mock up of the table scheme design to help illustrate the direction for the venue staff who will be setting up for the wedding reception.  It is looking like a lovely, cozy, autumn wedding is falling into place!
